The Centre offers guided tours for visiting groups with prior notice.
For elementary school and high school students the Centre organizes History classes with focus on the tragedy of Lipa in the broader context of World War II. Besides the theoretical part, this education also includes the tour of the museum’s permanent exhibition and other memorial locations around the village with the intent of transmitting knowledge and moral principles with direct experience and immediate contact with historical heritage.
In cooperation with elementary and high school teachers and professors the Centre organizes thematic workshops for children of all age. Memorial heritage workshops theach the importance of peace, tolerance and nonviolent comunication.
Along with memorial heritage, workshops can also deal with different heritage themes from Liburnian Karst region (archeology, ethnology and traditional way of life, sacral heritage etc.) We adapt workshops according to the educational curriculum and we’re looking forward to partnership with interested teachers and professors in creating creative educational content.
